To make locating the html folder quicker on repeat visits and to automatically pre-select the local folder:
- Right click on the site name you just added and select 'Site Properties'
- Select the Actions tab and type '/var/www/html' where it mentions 'When client connects...'
- Additionally, you should browse to the folder on your own 'Local' computer where you've saved the website
You may also find it advantageous to enable all files to be visible on the web server:
- Click on 'Filter' under the actions tab in the 'Site Properties'
- Check 'Enable Filtering' and 'Enable server side filtering...'
- Type '-al' (minus symbol and lowercase a & l) in the space provided beside 'Remote Filter'
By default Cute FTP Pro, automatically sets the correct port, but if you experience problems connecting, ensure that you are trying to connect to Port: 21 (this can be done under the Type tab in 'Site Properties')
